XYZ Registry takes a firm stance against DNS abuse to protect our domain space. Over the past decade, we’ve developed an adaptive anti-abuse program to address emerging threats. Our team proactively identifies and mitigates various forms of DNS abuse—including, but not limited to, phishing, malware, and spam—across our TLDs. With the help of cybersecurity partners, we enforce our Anti-Abuse Policy to protect internet users and uphold trust across our domain space.

To report abuse of .xyz or any XYZ Registry TLD, please open a ticket at https://gen.xyz/abuse or email [email protected].

This quarter, we’d like to spotlight the value of industry collaboration in our abuse mitigation efforts. We work closely with security researchers, cybersecurity organizations, and other trusted partners to identify and take action on abusive domains. XYZ collaborates with prominent organizations like Spamhaus, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG). We take advantage of DNS Community services like the NetBeacon Institute. We maintain relationships with expert independent researchers dedicated to contributing threat intelligence for the greater good. We happily work with cybersecurity vendors who want to do more than just protect their own customers.

This past quarter we have been engaging with a new partner, Infoblox, a recognized force in cloud and network security. We aim to make it easy for companies monitoring digital threats to share the intel needed to enact takedowns and help make the internet a safer place. We are grateful for these relationships and for the shared knowledge and values. With their expertise and our ability to act quickly, we make a tangible impact on abuse.

Collaboration with trusted partners helps power swift enforcement. These partnerships are an important part of our efforts to protect internet users and maintain a secure domain space. By leveraging diverse expertise and intelligence sources, we can adapt and enhance our enforcement strategies.

We’re committed to fostering a safe namespace and welcome partnerships with responsible parties who share this mission. Let’s work together to protect internet users.

The Anti-Abuse Quarterly is published to the XYZ Registry Anti-Abuse hub on https://xyz.xyz/abuse. Visit to learn more about our monitoring process, find information on how to report abuse, and understand the actions we take in collaboration with industry partners and law enforcement.

As we continue to safeguard our domain space, these resources serve as a testament to our unwavering commitment to a safer internet. We encourage you to join us in the ongoing fight against online abuse.
