In this week’s #AIMonday, we’ll introduce you to a platform reshaping AI development by fostering decentralized access to data, capital, and infrastructure: Reppo.xyz.
Reppo.xyz is the online home of Reppo, a platform designed to facilitate collaboration between AI developers, data providers, and infrastructure services. It provides a decentralized system where AI agents and developers can access data, negotiate terms, and execute agreements in a permissionless manner. Reppo aims to create a streamlined environment for AI-driven innovation by integrating multiple coordination layers for data, capital, and infrastructure. In January 2025, Reppo secured $2.2 million in funding to support its development, with backing from investors such as Protocol Labs, CV VC, and CMS Holdings.1
The innovative platform includes several key features that leverage artificial intelligence. Its decentralized data marketplace aims to help AI developers connect with proprietary data providers, facilitating intent-driven matchmaking to help developers access datasets and data pipelines suited to their needs. The platform also incorporates a capital coordination mechanism designed to allocate resources in support of AI innovation. Additionally, its infrastructure coordination layer aggregates decentralized AI infrastructure services, including compute, storage, and inference tools, with the goal of improving accessibility and interoperability for AI builders.
Reppo is founded by Raghav “RG” Rmadya, who previously worked at open-source software development company Protocol Labs, where he contributed to ecosystem development and the growth of the Filecoin network. During his tenure, he worked on economic incentive structures to enhance data onboarding and collaborated with senior leadership on bridging decentralized and traditional storage systems. His experience in blockchain and data coordination informs Reppo’s approach to AI resource accessibility. We had the opportunity to speak with RG about Reppo and the decision to build on .xyz. As he explained,
